Coming soon

Hi there,

this is Sinan in Berlin.

I’ve quit my pretty great job as an editor at the German media outlet Tagesspiegel Background to launch my own English-language specialist briefing on European energy, industrial, and climate policy: The Kelvin Report.

I'm doing this because so much is at stake for society in Europe’s energy transition, and because I believe we need to write, report, and discuss these topics even more — using a language that decision-makers and policy professionals across various EU states can understand.

If the project becomes financially viable, I plan to bring colleagues on board, structure The Kelvin Report as a cooperative, and establish independent, community-backed reporting. I’ll be sending out the first edition of The Kelvin Report on Monday, 31 August. It will be published on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

There are two ways you can support the project:

1. Spread the word and sign up for project updates via the "Subscribe" button on this website. You’ll receive two or three free editions.

2. Support the project with a paid subscription through your organization (or even personally). The first 29 subscribers get the monthly rate of 29 euros; payment via (corporate) credit card is welcome.

You’ll be hearing from me very soon — cheers, keep your fingers crossed for the project, and thanks in advance for the support! ⚡

— Sinan Reçber, Founding Editor of The Kelvin Report
